Spinnaker Tower - Landmark observation tower in Portsmouth

The Spinnaker Tower is a landmark observation tower in Portsmouth, being a landmark of southern England. The tower represents sails, has a design lifetime of 80 years, called Portsmouth Millennium Tower and won the RICS Project of the year award in 2006. The tower was opened on 18 October, 2005, is owned by Portsmouth City Council, is around visible Portsmouth and has suffered from a number of issues. Continuum runs other five visitor attractions across the country. The steelwork was fabricated by Butterley Engineering. Glass floor is on the located, first viewing deck at 100 metres. The design is to the similar Burj Al Arab in Dubai, unveiled on 19 June. Blue Peter recorded the 2006 Book of the year award.
