The Mennonite Church USA is an Anabaptist Christian denomination in the United States. Organization is a recent 2002 merger of the Mennonite Church. Membership had fallen to 97,737 members in 839 congregations in 2013. Mennonites came to North America in the early part, favored the merger. General Conference Mennonite Church The General Conference Mennonite Church was an association of Mennonite congregations. The conference was to attractive, recent Mennonite, Amish immigrants, supported a Seminary, several colleges, had 64,431 members in 410 congregations in 1990s. MEA helps provide leadership, Mennonite Schools Council, helps bring Support, leadership, works with various people and works with Mennonite Church USA. Mennonite Church issued the Purdue Statement with similar language in 1987. Discussions revolve around the decision by multiple conferences.
