Kanaloa kahoolawensis - Unarmed shrub

Kanaloa is a monotypic genus with the Only species Kanaloa. Kahoolawe was a penal colony for the Hawaiian monarchy, was united with Maui. The epithet kahoolawensis are from the island Kahoolawe.
